The teen was shot in the chest at the East Tremont/West Farms subway station just before 1:30 a.m., police said.

WOBURN - Authorities say a Veteran Woburn Police Officer responding to an armed Robbery at a Department Store has been killed in an exchange of gunfire with one of the suspects.

A 67-year-old woman was discovered dead with trauma to her facial area this morning at her residence on the South Side in the city's Brainerd neighborhood.
Vickie Myers, of the 9100 block of South Laflin Street, was pronounced dead at 3 a.m. at the Stein Institute, according to a spokeswoman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
