Candidate : The power of an Endorsement is far from a perfect science, but if Sarah Palin subscribes to the belief that the only thing that matters is a win, she's probably feeling pretty good about her slate of Candidates after Tuesday's Election. Palin divvied out 61 total Endorsements of House, Senate, and Governor Candidates in the run up to the Midterm Elections.

Ten of these Candidates lost their primary battles during rather paltry first few rounds of endorsements, leaving 51 to face voters on elec...

Sarah Palin 'not qualified' to be the next US President: Levi Johnston
Washington, Nov 3 (ANI): Levi Johnston has once again targeted Sarah Palin, saying he believes that the former Alaska Governor is 'not qualified' to be the next President of the United States of America. Johnston, who is plotting his own quest for public office in Wasilla, Alaska, was responding to a statement made by Palin earlier this week in which she said she would run for Prez, "If there's nobody else to do it." "That makes no sense because someone always runs for President" ..., TMZ.com qu...
Sarah Palin’s Alaska: Why do liberals care about this show?
I already wrote about the importance of Conservatives reaching out to the rest of America using the Media and conquering Pop Culture. If the election from two days ago is any indication, we’re taking back Washington. Sarah Palin is not the typical politician and that has heightened her popularity among Conservatives. She tells it like it is, and is not shy about it. What is overwhelmingly indicative of the power of Palin’s persona is that a network is willing to have a show centere...
A Preview of "Sarah Palin's Alaska": A Platform to a Presidential Run?
If you want an official start for the 2012 presidential race, perhaps Nov. 14 is as good an a date as any. That's when "Sarah Palin's Alaska" debuts on TLC, and the show and its website have gone out to the media. First impressions: The show is supposed to be an apolitical travelogue, but since when has Palin appeared or said anything that somehow doesn't trigger a furor? "Our behavior has certainly changed this summer because of this new neighbor," she says at th...
Tuesday's election a missed opportunity for Republicans
The GOP may have triumphed in the House, but they failed to capture the Senate, and now they're playing the blame game. "Candidates matter," said South Carolina's senior Senator, Lindsey Graham . "It was a good night for Republicans but it could have been a better one. We left some on the table." Former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott agreed: "We did not nominate our strongest Candidates." He said if Republicans had nominated establishment candidates Mike Castle , Sue Lowden and Jane Norton in...
ABC: Bristol Aided by Tea Party - Bristol Palin - Fox Nation
Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, survived a seventh week on the Walt Disney Co. network's show Nov. 2, the night Republicans gained at least 60 House seats. The 20-year-old was saved by viewers' votes after her Viennese waltz received the judges' worst score. Ex-Los Angeles Laker Rick FOX got the hook, based on the lowest combined tally. "There's a strong popular movement behind Sarah Palin at the moment and she's receiving a lot of support from the Tea Party," Conrad G...
Sarah Palin Retweets Photo That Says Obama is "Taliban Muslim"
ABC News' Mary Bruce reports:
In recent weeks Sarah Palin has used her Twitter page to endorse Midterm Candidates, offer political commentary, and get out the vote. But last week, she also used Twitter to re-tweet a photo of a sign labeling President Barack Obama a “Taliban Muslim.”
Palin re-tweeted a post by conservative political commentator Ann Coulter linking to an image of a sign outside “The Blood of Jesus ATLAH World Missionary Church.” The sign reads, “The

Alaska rival's rebuke curdles Sarah Palins Tea Party triumph
Sheldon Alberts, Washington Correspondent, Postmedia News · Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 WASHINGTON — Is it really Sarah Palin’s Alaska? Senator Lisa Murkowski doesn’t think so. In the substantial wake of this week’s U.S. Midterm Elections, the Hottest Political feud to explode does not involve President Barack Obama and Republicans leaders in Congress. The fight is between Ms. Palin, the former Alaska Governor and Tea Party heroine, and Ms. Murkowski, a longtime rival w...
Despite Mixed Record, Palin Declares Victory
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is, as usual, making waves with her Facebook page on Thursday, posting a web video that declares victory for the Candidates she endorsed this fall. From a macro and shallow perspective, Palin had a strong record this year. She endorsed 64 Candidates and, at this point, half have won (five races with Palin-backed Republicans are still Undecided). But a closer look at the video and Palin's actual Campaign schedule in the closing weeks of the Campaign undercuts those...
Despite mixed record, Palin talks up her 2010 impact (The Upshot)
Sarah Palin is wasting no time talking up her successes on Election Day--even though only half of the Candidates she endorsed managed to win--and many of them were running in contests that already strongly favored the GOP.
The former Alaska Governor and possible 2012 GOP presidential hopeful posted a Political video on her Facebook page late Wednesday featuring footage of eight Republicans she endorsed who won their races on Tuesday.
The Web ad, called "Together," knits footage of Palin rally ...
Roll Calls Morton Kondracke On Sarah Palin: Shes A Joke Within Her Own Party
Morton Kondracke is the Executive Editor and columnist for the non-partisan Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call and recently spoke during a Election analysis that appeared on CSPAN. Oh, he also believes that, apart form Pelosi and Obama, the people who were hit hardest in the Midterm Elections were…wait for it… Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin . Of course!
Politico’s On Media blog sums up:
At the Roll Call/CQ Election analysis session at the Ronald Reagan Building this morning, Roll C...
Murray's lead widens on new vote counts
UPDATE 5:14 p.m. Sen. Patty Murray pulled further ahead this afternoon, taking 68 percent of the nearly 70,000 Votes counted in King County on Thursday.
The King County boost widened Murray's statewide lead to more than two percentage points -- nearly 50,000 Votes -- over Republican Dino Rossi statewide even as Rossi-leaning counties began to report new totals. The biggest Rossi counties, Spokane and Clark, both reported results today but his gains there were swamped by King County.
The trend...

Boris Johnson could be the Sarah Palin of a British Tea Party | Martin Kettle
It was never hard to explain the global fascination with the Tea Party. Angry Americans always make good copy, especially when they are fronted by suburban housewives with attitude. As of this week, though, this movement is more than just another piece of transatlantic political grand guignol. The 26% of American voters who described themselves as angry as they went to the Polls have a Party in their own image now. With three new Republican senators and as many as 60 of the 83 new Republican mem...
Sarah Palin's Midterm Scorecard: A Winning Record, but Some Key Losses
Sarah Palin came out a big winner in terms of raw numbers Tuesday, but saw four of her key endorsees take prominent losses in the Midterm Elections. The former Alaska Governor and 2008 Republican vice Presidential nominee offered her star power -- and the occasional Campaign contribution or Robocall -- to more than 100 conservative Candidates during the primary and General Elections. A Politics Daily tally puts Palin's Tuesday successes at 62 wins, 23 losses and seven contests that are still to...
Ballot Tells Voters to Fill Wrong Oval - WNYC
City Elections officials will reinforce the proper way to fill out ballots on Election Day after the revelation that printed ballot instructions tell voters to fill in the wrong ovals. Instructions on a sample ballot direct voters to fill the "oval above" a Candidate's name -- but the proper oval is below each Candidate's name. Following those instructions, someone trying to vote for Carl Paladino for Governor on the Taxpayers Party line would actually cast a vote for Green Party Candidate...
Tea Party Influence in 2010 Midterm Elections (associatedcontent)
The performance of the Tea Party in the 2010 Midterm Elections proves that when the people are fed up, their voices will be heard. Two races in particular demonstrate this point.
The first is the race between Harry Reid, Incumbent in Nevada, and challenger Sharron Angle. While pundits around the country will simply state that Sharron Angle cost the GOP a Senate seat, a closer examination should occur.
Harry Reid was Senate Majority Leader, and has been a senator since 1986. In addition to this...
The Path To Victory For Joe Miller In Alaska
Based upon current laws and regulations, there is a reasonable path to victory for Republican Joe Miller in the contentious U.S. Senate race in Alaska; however, with a very pro-Murkowski Lt. Governor, Craig Campbell, operating much like a state Secretary of State, a liberal court system and Murkowski tapping members of Bush’s Florida 2000 Legal Team, it’s unlikely to be as straightforward as it should be.
According to recent numbers via the Washington Post, there are 83,201 write-i...
Minnesota might face another recount
It’s déjà vu for Minnesotans, as all signs point to a Recount in the Governor’s race.
With Democrat Mark Dayton holding a narrow lead of just 8,775 votes over Republican Tom Emmer, neither camp appears ready to declare victory or concede. And given the state’s nightmarish Recount that followed the 2008 Senate race, officials are preparing for the worst.
Retiring GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who’s eyeing a presidential bid, has said he will stay on as Governor ...
What's up with Mort Kondracke?
OH-OH Mort....what's up? Hurling insults? Mort might want a do over on this one....Governor Palin gets more people listening to just one of her speeches than Mort gets readers in what...a month? or year of writing? Mort might want to dial back and focus on more substantive criticisms. It is one thing to zero in on one's policies or ideas and argue against them and even do so aggressively ...but insults like calling someone a joke? I disagree with some Republican platform issues...
Soros-Sponsored Candidates, Ballot Initiatives Go Down on Election Day
FILE: Billionaire financier George Soros speaks at a Reuters Newsmaker event in New York on Sept. 15, 2010. Election night was a bad night for Democrats. It was even worse for their financiers. Billionaire George Soros, the Hungarian-born businessman known for bankrolling liberal causes, saw a slew of his pet projects and Candidates get wiped out in the Republican-red tide on Tuesday. The Secretary of State Project, which sprouted out of the Soros-backed Democracy Alliance, was built...
If Palin and the Tea Parties are their new kingmakers, GOP may be in for a rough ride
Well, to read the Wall Street Journal or to watch Fox News, you'd come away from the 2010 Elections with the overwhelming impression that the nation's Most Powerful kingmakers now were Sarah Palin and the Tea Parties. The problem with that: Overall, less than half their Candidates won. In the case of the Tea Parties, it was only a Third or so. Palin, appearing on Hannity last night, defended some of her higher-profile Endorsement losses, which included Christine O'Donnell, Sharron Angle, Carly ...
Should Sarah Palin Run for President in 2012?
Almost as soon as the polls closed on Tuesday--with some key races still not yet decided--the debate had already shifted from the 2010 Midterm campaigns to the 2012 Presidential Election. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is being eyed as a strong possible contender. Observers say she has come a long way since she was tapped by John McCain as his vice Presidential nominee in 2008--she was a star of the Republican Party throughout the 2010 campaign and helped pave the way for many Candidates throu...
