One of the terminals at Newark Liberty International Airport near New York has reopened after a brief closure due to a security scare.
The incident was sparked by a suspect package at an American Airlines counter in Terminal A, later found to be benign.

ABC News is reporting that a possible bomb was found behind a counter at American Airlines. No vehicle traffic has been allowed in or out of the terminal and the Essex County Bomb Squad is on the scene.
